Child Safety Policy
Our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
1. Zero tolerance
Metchi has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We do not permit any content, conduct, or activity that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors in any way. Our platform is intended only for adults (18 and over), and we take active steps to prevent, detect, and remove any abuse involving minors.
2. Age restriction
Our app and services are strictly for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not allow minors to create accounts or use Metchi. We use age gates, account verification, and other measures to enforce this. Any account or content that we believe is associated with a minor in a sexual or exploitative context is removed and reported.
3. Prohibited content and conduct
We prohibit:
- Any content that depicts, promotes, or facilitates child sexual abuse or exploitation
- Any sexual or romantic solicitation or interaction involving minors
- Grooming, trafficking, or any form of exploitation of minors
- Content that sexualizes minors or presents minors in a sexualized manner
- Any attempt to circumvent our age or safety controls to involve minors
4. Detection and removal
We use technology, user reports, and human review to detect and remove content and accounts that violate these standards. We act quickly to remove any such content and to suspend or terminate accounts. We also preserve and share information with law enforcement and relevant authorities when required by law or when necessary to protect minors.
5. Reporting
If you see content or behavior on Metchi that you believe involves child sexual abuse or exploitation, please report it immediately through the in-app reporting option or our Contact page. You may also report to your local law enforcement or to organizations such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), as appropriate in your country.
6. Cooperation with authorities
We cooperate fully with law enforcement and other competent authorities in the investigation and prosecution of child sexual abuse and exploitation. We respond to lawful requests and report to relevant authorities as required by law, including where we have a reasonable belief that a minor is at risk.
7. Policy updates
We may update this Child Safety Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this page. Continued use of Metchi after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
